One day in the book store, I stumbled upon a stack of Complete this Drawing, published by Piccadilly Inc. Curiosity rose. I saw simple lines on each page that suggested what the drawing on that page should be when completed.
Well...
The rebel in me challenged that suggestion. The artist in me decided I could use those initial lines and go in an unexpected direction. I had to have this book.
By posting my forays 'outside that box' I hope to encourage you to consider your own art work. Is there an edge you can push further? Can you surprise yourself with what your marks reveal?
I couldn't resist the cardboard cover of this book--so perfectly suited for color pencils. I couldn't wait to get started on my adventure, so I began drawing right on the cover.
