Ellen, Complete This Drawing
Piccadilly's book "Complete this Drawing" intrigued me. I saw simple lines on each page that suggested what the drawing on that page should be when completed. Well... The rebel in me challenged that suggestion. The artist in me decided to use those initial lines and carry the drawing in an unexpected direction. The potential drawing on each page is like a gift to be unwrapped--what will it become?

On the Road Again
This pretzel shape seemed to indicate a steering wheel. Coronavirus social distancing is brewing desires to go on a road trip.
Anywhere!
Yesterday, Sweetie-Pie and I thought that a good 'isolation' road trip alternative would be to sit side-by-side on our sofa, load our laps with our usual road trip snacks, drink coffee from our travel mugs, and watch Drive Nevada for an hour or two on our tablet.
Ya...it's time for a drive.

A String of Beads
I have looked at this page many times since I acquired my Complete This Drawing book, but I could never 'see' what to do with it.
Since I've been committed to social distancing during this Coronavirus occurrence, I've been busy with many odd jobs...one of which was organizing my bead collection.
Then I saw this page again, and...voila!
Serendipity!

The Birds and the Bees
It was a bit before my time, but apparently the Beehive
hair-do was all the rage.
And what goes better with bees than birds?
By the way, I do actually have a pair of these splashy red-lens glasses--thanks to my granddaughters (they know what their Oma likes).

Sideshow Bob
On the program, The Simpsons, there is a character with wild, red dread-lock hair. His name is Sideshow Bob. When I saw the palm tree frond, Sideshow Bob was all I could envision.
On the book cover, this same palm frond is tucked in the top corner. A comic book inspired explosion now fills the space. (The frond is left of the 'B.')

Stone Teeth
I had been watching several programs about English villages, and though this wall isn't quite the same, the theme of stone walls and fences stuck.
